Projects

Canadian Solar Solutions Inc. (Canadian Solar) is proposing to develop several solar photovoltaic projects in Ontario. The proposed projects are renewable energy generation facilities which will use solar photovoltaic technology to convert sunlight to electricity. The proposed projects range in size from 7-megawatt to 10-megawatt and are located in eastern and northern Ontario. The proposed projects were approved by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) as Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) projects. As such, the proposed projects require approval from the Ontario Ministry of Environment (MOE) through the Renewable Energy Approval (REA) regulations. Canadian Solar has developed this website to provide the public information about these proposed projects.

For a brief overview of each proposed project, please review the Project Description Report and Executive Summary Report. The Project Description Report provides a high-level overview of the proposed project location and proposed project components. The Executive Summary Report provides a summary of each report for the proposed project and will direct you to the appropriate report if you require specific information. Public meeting dates for each proposed project can be confirmed by reviewing the Notice of a Proposal and Public Meeting and the Notice of Final Public Meeting.
